Some of the trees planted are thriving now, and the vegetation is slowly colonizing the site.The present invention relates to a toner collecting device for removing toner powder from a toner image support, and more specifically to an improved collecting mechanism for removing toner powder from a toner image support such as a photosensitive drum after developing a latent electrostatic image on the photosensitive drum and then transferring the developed image to a recording medium.
Hitherto, the toner collecting device as shown in FIG. 3 has been known. As shown in FIG. 3, the toner collecting device includes a collecting sleeve 16 which has a suction port 19 therein. A fan 20 is connected with the suction port 19 to produce a suction force. A suction opening 17 is disposed on the side of the fan 20. A toner container 18 is disposed in a toner container opening of the toner collecting sleeve 16 so as to receive toner in the toner collecting sleeve 16.
When the toner collecting sleeve 16 is rotated to rotate the fan 20, a large quantity of air in the suction opening 17 is drawn into the suction port 19 through the toner collecting sleeve 16. Thereafter, the air is drawn into the toner container 18 through the suction opening 17. The toner powder in the toner container 18 is separated by the rotation of the toner collecting sleeve 16 and dropped into a container 22.
